Continuing the tradition pioneered by the instrumental masters of the 60’s, The Sun Protection Factor Four (SPF4) came together in 2004 through a love for the sound and vibe of the music. Proud members of the Northeast Surf Music Alliance (NESMA), they have enjoyed performing for audiences across the northeast and beyond over the past two decades. From their home base in the hills and valleys of Western Massachusetts, and with reference to the past and an eye on the future, SPF4 is crafting its current wave of surf-inspired instrumental rock with energy and edge.
